
Asian Institute of Computer Studies is offering a three-term Strengthened Senior High School (SSHS) Curricula for grades 11 and 12 which aligns with the international benchmarks and national educational goals, preparing learners for higher education, the workforce, and lifelong learning. This enables teachers to design lessons and assessments that foster mastery and deeper understanding of the lessons, ensuring that the learners gain 21 st century skills including critical thinking and problem-solving abilities required for success in the real world.
Academic and TechPro Tracks
1. Academic Track
Arts, Social Sciences, and Humanities (ASS&H) Cluster
This cluster equips learners with the knowledge, skills, and values necessary for understanding human experiences, cultures, societies, and creative expression. It develops critical and reflective thinking, effective communication, civic responsibility, leadership, and artistic competence through interdisciplinary studies in the arts, literature, philosophy, governance, and social sciences. The cluster prepares learners for higher education, professional careers, and active participation in a diverse and dynamic society.
Graduates are critical thinkers, effective communicators, culturally responsive citizens, ethical leaders, creative practitioners, collaborative team members, research-oriented learners, and lifelong learners who contribute meaningfully to society and the creative economy.
Business and Entrepreneurship (BEC) Cluster
This cluster develops learners who possess entrepreneurial competence, business acumen, financial literacy, leadership skills, and innovative thinking. Through the study of business principles, entrepreneurship, management, economics, and finance, learners are equipped to pursue higher education, establish enterprises, contribute to organizational success, and participate effectively in the local and global economy. It prepares learners to understand business operations, entrepreneurial ventures, financial management, and economic decision-making in a rapidly changing and technology-driven economy. It equips students with foundational knowledge and practical skills in entrepreneurship, business management, marketing, accounting, finance, innovation, and digital commerce. It develops learners who can identify opportunities, solve business problems, manage resources effectively, and create value for organizations and communities.
Graduates of the Business and Entrepreneurship Cluster are innovative, financially literate, ethical, entrepreneurial, and digitally competent individuals who create value, lead responsibly, and contribute to sustainable economic growth and community development.
Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Cluster
This cluster is designed for learners who are interested in scientific inquiry, technological innovation, engineering design, and mathematical problem-solving. The cluster develops learners’ competencies in analyzing complex problems, conducting research, applying scientific principles, and utilizing technology to address real-world challenges. It emphasizes the development of critical thinking, computational thinking, creativity, innovation, collaboration, and evidence-based decision-making. Through laboratory work, research projects, technological applications, and interdisciplinary learning experiences, students gain the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in higher education, emerging industries, and professions that drive scientific and technological advancement.
Graduates of the STEM Cluster are scientifically literate, analytically skilled, technologically competent, research-oriented, innovative, and socially responsible individuals who apply science, technology, engineering, and mathematics to create solutions and contribute to national and global development.
2. TechPro Track
ICT Support and Computer Programming Technologies (DS&CT) Cluster
This cluster is designed for learners who are interested in computer systems, software development, technical support, networking, and emerging digital technologies. The cluster prepares students for both higher education and industry work by developing strong foundations in programming, systems troubleshooting, IT infrastructure, and digital solutions development.It emphasizes hands-on, practical, and industry-aligned learning experiences where students apply computational thinking, coding skills, and technical problem-solving to real-world scenarios. It develops learners who are capable of designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting computer-based systems and digital environments in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.
It equips learners with practical and industry-relevant competencies in computer programming, system support, networking, and digital technology development. It prepares students to design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot computer systems and software solutions while fostering problem-solving, computational thinking, and innovation for academic advancement and ICT-related careers. It offers two (2) computer programming electives such as .NET Technology and Java.
Graduates of the ICT Support and Computer Programming Technologies Cluster are skilled, innovative, and industry-ready ICT professionals who apply programming, technical support, and systems development competencies to solve real-world digital problems and support technological advancement.
